Atlanta, GA (May 13, 2025) – A crash on I-20 Eastbound past Riverside Parkway (Exit 46) brought traffic to a crawl Tuesday morning after the right lane was blocked during peak drive time.
According to reports from WSB-TV and Georgia DOT traffic footage, the crash occurred shortly after 7:00 a.m. Emergency responders worked to move the vehicles to the shoulder, and by 8:30 a.m., residual delays extended back to Lee Road. The exact cause of the crash remains unknown, and there have been no confirmed reports regarding injuries at this time.
The right lane was reopened after responders cleared the scene, but backups persisted well into the morning.
