Atlanta, GA (March 28, 2025) – A rear-end collision occurred this morning on I-75 South near the exit for Howell Station in Atlanta, Georgia, injuring two drivers. The accident, which took place around 8:00 a.m., involved a white Toyota Corolla and a black Honda Accord.
Initial reports suggest that the driver of the Toyota Corolla failed to stop in time, rear-ending the Honda Accord, which had slowed down due to heavy traffic. The impact caused significant damage to the rear of the Honda and the front of the Toyota. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, providing medical care to both drivers. One of the drivers was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of neck and back injuries, while the other was treated on-site for minor injuries.
The Atlanta Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash, and early reports suggest that distracted driving or tailgating may have contributed to the incident. Traffic was delayed for approximately 40 minutes as authorities cleared the wreckage and restored normal traffic flow.
We extend our thoughts to the injured individuals and hope for a full and speedy recovery.
