In 2003, I faced a life-altering diagnosis of Ewing’s Sarcoma. Amidst uncertainty, I underwent surgeries and intense treatments at Cornell-Weill and Sloan Kettering. This journey taught me the value of life and the importance of cherishing every moment.

Grateful for the support I received, I now strive to extend that care to my clients. Despite losses along the way, I remain inspired by the resilience of those affected by cancer.

In tribute to all cancer victims, I dedicate this scholarship to those fighting the same battle.

About Cancer Survivorship

The advancements in cancer survivorship stand as a testament to human resilience and ingenuity. According to the American Cancer Society, the overall cancer death rate has declined steadily over the past few decades, with the 5-year survival rate for all cancers combined increasing from 49% in 1975 to 69% as of 2019. These statistics underscore the progress made in cancer research and treatment, offering hope and inspiration to those navigating the journey of survivorship.

If you or a loved one has faced the difficult path of cancer survivorship, you understand the profound impact it has on every aspect of life. Yet, amidst the challenges and uncertainties, there emerges an opportunity for renewal—a chance to embrace life’s possibilities with newfound gratitude and determination.

At The Weinstein Firm, we recognize the transformative power of education in empowering survivors to reclaim their futures. That’s why we’re proud to introduce the Weinstein Cancer Survivor Scholarship. This scholarship embodies our commitment to supporting survivors in their pursuit of higher education, offering hope and a pathway to success.

Education not only equips survivors with the tools they need to thrive but also fosters resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity. It is a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, paving the way for a brighter tomorrow.

We understand that the road to recovery is not without its challenges, but you do not have to walk it alone. Let us stand by your side, offering support and encouragement as you embark on this next chapter of your life. Together, we can celebrate your triumphs, honor your resilience, and inspire others with your story of courage and resilience.
