Atlanta, GA (April 30, 2025) – A major collision on I-285 South in Atlanta, Georgia, has left two drivers injured. The accident occurred around 4:45 p.m., involving a black Chevrolet Silverado and a white Honda Civic.

The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado, a 54-year-old woman, was also injured, suffering a broken arm and facial injuries. She was treated at the scene and then transported to a medical facility.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash, and initial reports suggest that the driver of the Chevrolet Silverado may have misjudged the distance when changing lanes, which caused the collision. Traffic on I-285 South was delayed for over 40 minutes while emergency responders cleared the wreckage and restored normal flow.
