State Court of Henry County

The State Court of Henry County oversees the prosecution of misdemeanor crimes, including traffic offenses, committed in Henry County.

The court also provides resolution of civil actions regardless of the amount in controversy including garnishments, proceeding against tenants, foreclosures, and all other actions that is not exclusive jurisdiction in the Superior Court.

Mission

It is the mission of the State Court of Henry County to do justice, as nearly as possible, to all persons coming before our Court and to the community at large.

Justice is both substantive and procedural; that is, justice encompasses both the judgment rendered in a matter coming before the Court, and the process used to reach that judgment.
